Resolution to Evict River Ridge Equestrian Center

The Riverdale Riding Corporation d/b/a River Ridge Equestrian Center, a sole corporation owned by a non-County resident is making $$$$$ on your tax dollar.  Riverdale holds a 20 year lease with Westchester County to operate the River Ridge Equestrian Center on County-owned parkland in Eastchester, New York for which it pays $500.00 per month for the entire 7-acre facility.  Riverdale has failed to comply with the terms of its lease agreement including its failure to make required capital improvements of almost $600,000.00.  Riverdale has engaged in tax evasion and violation of child labor laws.  Riverdale has "passed on" a 72% increase in board fees (from $700.00 to $1,200.00 per month per horse) to County residents based on intentionally falsified and fraudulent representations of increases in costs.

IT IS TIME FOR RIVERDALE TO GO!!!  GIDDY UP!!

We the underlined are concerned citizens who urge the Westchester County Board of Legislators to act now to evict the Riverdale Riding Corporation from the North Equestrian Stable at Twin Lakes Park, Eastchester, New York.
